Citizens Association for Child Rights: Helping One Municipal School at a Time

CACR   |   27 April 2018

Citizens Association for Child Rights [CACR] designs and directly implements projects in municipal schools. Our 3 focus areas are: digital education, school health-sanitation, and holistic development.

For CACR, 2016–17 particularly has been an amazing year- we entered into partnerships with prestigious International organisations such as UNICEF and Habitat for Humanity to improve WASH (Water Sanitation Hygiene) compliance in municipal schools.

A member of GoodCSR-Samhita as well as a GuideStar India transparency key holder, CACR received a certificate of Merit on Wolrd CSR Day 2018 and were the first Urban Development partners with UNICEF Mumbai.

Atma Network has been an extremely helpful knowledge resource for CACR whether it’s the excellent content shared via webinars on volunteer management, budgeting, or the valuable 2-day boot camp on fundraising. The Atma Network platform with the NGO lifestage survey gave us renewed insights about our areas of improvement and provided the necessary tools to help us plug our inefficiencies.
