The FOI programme builds ‘core capacities’. We define these as those critical organisational capacities that are required for any social organisation to thrive in the sector. Strengthening processes from within supports an NGO in India to move away from internal firefighting to focussing more on the impact for communities they serve.
With years of experience in the sector and various sector consultations, the FOI team has identified these core capacities across 5 Organisational Development (OD) areas:
